vintage Machinists Engineers JONES MOTROLA TACHOMETER w/box & accessories NAVY?

Description

Here's a very old Tachometer made in Stamford,Ct by Jones Motrola Corp.  It measures the RPM of a spinning object, like a propeller shaft, with a large round friction wheel and other accessories.  It is in well-used condition and appears to still be functional but may need cleaning and lube. Dial measures 4.25" in diameter.  Three speed ranges.  Comes its original box with accessories and EDL-259 painted in white on the front and on the Tach itself.  This piece has a WW2 US Navy connection and was a souvenir brought home by a Navy man who served on a ship.
