NOTE: 8 FOOT STRAPS RUN 7.5 TO 8 FEET.
We try for 8 feet on all of them, but sometimes the cow was not quite that long. Thus far, the 8 foot straps have all been adequate for those who are use them on saddles requiring a 3-way connection.
The 3 foot off-billet (first photo) has 5 adjustment holes on each end, 3 inches apart over a 12-inch span.
This 10-to-12 ounce leather is strong, but still flexible enough to use from the beginning. It is made to tie and/or to buckle.
The straps are 1 1/2 inches wide.
