Are you looking for the exact L79 then this is for you! This is the very rarest of the
GM Chevrolet Tachometers.
It’s missing the rear screw at the case and mounting bracket but does include the swivel to aid in reproducing the under dash mount.
This is what is known as a 66 1966 Chevrolet Dealer Over the Counter Accessory Tachometer, note the manufacturer inspection date in the photos. Could be added to any car without a tachometer, but was released in 1965 and 1966 only. The swivel works perfectly and it works. THE ORIGINAL BOWTIE is intact and in very nice condition! The chrome is nice but is does have some slight discoloration/ hazing on the sides and one pit on the side of the chrome basal.  Very little fading of the colors on the face dial but some very sight hazing to a portion of the clear lens which I hesitate to attempt to clean.
Now is a rare opportunity to own an ultra rare knee knocker tachometer. Original bowtie
