This is a October 1940 Popular Mechanics Magazine. This is a Pre-World War II Magazine. There are many great articles including ones on new inventions and how to do various projects. There are also articles on the Search for War Metals, Boat Racing – Aerial Nurses Corp, Speed the Key to Winning War, Highway Engineers, Mountain Climbing, Bombers Vs Battleships, Tractor Trailers the New Freight Trains of the Highway and Guncraft in a Home Workshop. There is also an article on New Technologies written by General Motors Vice President of Research. There are also many vintage photographs. This magazine is 80 years old and is in great shape for its age with some slight discoloration, and the staples are rusty, but overall good condition.
