    Description

This is a December 1948 Popular Mechanics Magazine. There are many great articles including ones on new inventions and how to do various projects. There are also articles on the Air Force by Hoyt S Vandenberg, Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force which includes photographs of U.S. Fighters and bombers. There is also articles on the Tournament of Roses Parade, Driving to Alaska, Drilling under Artic Ice and the U.S. Navy’s newest aircraft carrier. There are also many vintage photographs. This magazine is 72 years old and is in great shape for its age with some slight discoloration, tape on the outside spine and the staples are rusty, but overall good condition. There are dozens of other articles and photos as well as many vintage advertisements. I am listing several Antique and Vintage Magazines. Please check out my other auctions of old books, magazines, baseball cards, basketball cards, golf cards and assorted other vintage and sports memorabilia items.
