The SLR 680 is considered by many to be the best Polaroid camera ever released.
This analog instant camera was originally released in 1982, 10 years after the launch of the famous SX-70.
It combines the classic SX-70 style with an additional 10 years of expertise and engineering. This single lens reflex camera with a compact design and Polaroid’s patented Sonar Autofocus makes it a favorite among professional photographers and art lovers. The built in flash bar and compatibility with 600 Film makes it even more desirable.
The gold ring in front of the camera releases high frequency sound waves to determine how far away the subject you're photographing is. It then adjusts the focus automatically to hone in on your subject. This edition also comes with manual focus for full creative control. Just simply press in the button on top of the focus wheel to bypass the autofocus feature.
This camera is in great condition. It functions as intended and works exceptionally. It was tested with Polaroid 600 color film. The flash works as well as the auto focus feature. The photos shown in the listing were taken with this camera. Please see pics.
