Description

PENICILLIN HISTORY Gonorrhea Syphilus CHICAGO STREET GUIDE 1950
Titled “The Latest Chicago Street Guide”, this 1950 publication is actually an advertiser for the Dearborn Health Services who offers their services to those afflicted with gonorrhea or syphilis. They feature the new “Wonder Drug” - penicillin.
The text, longer than the street guide, gives the history of Penicillin and highlights its uses in curing venereal diseases.  Also deals with Masturbatin, Kidney and bladder trouble, health exams, rheumatism, rectal disease, female troubles, menstruation, varicose veins, prostate disease and circumcision.
Booklet is 3 by 5-1/2 inches, with about 32 pages. All pages show aging and are loose.  A very unusual “street guide.”
