We are more of a mid-century-modern doll/toy store but have taken in many antique dolls in the last year to avoid them being destroyed or going into garbage from banks and house flippers. We do not know a whole lot about them and getting as much advice from older collectors as we can, when we can. We were told this is a #3 but not really sure what # it is. We do not know if the clothes are original and most information we have is reasonable deduction. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE or ADVISE. WE APPRECIATE ANY HELP.

Kathe Kruse cloth doll with wide hips. He measures 16-17 inches long depending on measuring from the front or back. He has a painted and molded head with painted features and molded ears. He has painted hair. Cloth body with floppy style shoulders and jointed wide hips. Bottom of the feet are stamped. Stitched finger and toes. Ca. 1910 - 1930 era doll. He is wearing brown corduroy shorts, plaid shirt socks & shoes. I know the socks are

50s-60s. This antique cloth doll comes from an old farm house from the 1800s that is being torn down. (The attic was full of old dolls so keep checking back).
Condition: Dent in head, paint wear , likely paint touch ups, body has reasonable wear for age, most staining or discoloring is from exposed areas in which the clothes didn't cover. Shirt is full of tear/s holes but only few noticed on body, none noticed on shorts. Socks are "DOLSOX" so NOT Original. Shoes have fuzzy soles so remind me of 40-50s??? ODOR FREE!
