This is a scarce and original 1953 MACALESTER COLLEGE HANDBOOK FOR NEW STUDENTS (see picture), entitled THE SCOTSMAN.  Macalester College is located in ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA.  This handbook, approximately 30 pages in length, not only contains a message from President Charles Turck and an actual piece of Scotch fabric, but also general information about tuition, grades, clubs, and orientation week.  It is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear or creasing from handling and storage over the past 69 years.  Except for the name of the original owner on the inside first page, there is no handwriting in the handbook.  It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Macalester College enthusiast, St. Paul area historian, or vintage booklet collector in your life!  Postage is .25.  And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases.  Sorry, NO international shipping.  Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
