    For auction is a program from the San Francisco (California) Symphony Orchestra. It is for performances during the 1951-1952 season. Founded in 1911, the orchestra has performed at the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall in the City's Hayes Valley neighborhood. In its earlier years, it performed in other venues, to include concert halls and hotels. This program covers several events: (a) a Symphony Preview, by pianist Joaquin Nin-Culmell,; (b) Conductor Pierre Monteux directing a program of strings, symphony, dances and Spanish rhapsody 1; (c) a mixed program conducted by Andre Kostelanetz at the War Memorial Opera House on November 29-December 1, 1951; and (d) Sadler's Wells Theater Ballet at the War Memorial Opera House on December 13, 1951.
