For auction is a copy of "Oil, A Modern Necessity". This was a booklet in a series, "Our America", issued by Coca-Cola and distributed to schools as educational materials for students; the printing date is 1942. The booklet covers oil in four stages: (1) from oil well to refinery; (2) sending oil through the land (transportation); (3) benefits of oil; and (4) how oil makes the the world a better place. Each section has text to cover the subject point. Part of the booklet has panels for each section in which students were to paste pictures; these are not with the book, and it appears that several may at one time have been pasted in the publication; the pages are not damaged, however.

. It is printed on medium-weight paperstock. This item is in
good condition
, with no rips or tears, no writing or markings. The only flaws I can find are very slight glue marks where the picutres were pasted.
An interesting item for either the collector of petroleum publications or the Coca Cola fan. Discounted in price due to the glue flaws.
