Boring is done on your cylinder
. It can not have any cracks or be worn in excess of maximum size.
If your cylinder is beyond repair we will return it to you but you will be responsible for the return postage.
Please clean parts before shipping. We can remove gaskets for an extra charge of.
Your
cylinder will be bored and finish honed ready to be installed after proper clean up.
Honing oil will be left in the cylinder to prevent rusting when shipped back to you.
Cleaning and assembly instructions will be sent with your bored cylinder.
You will be required to mail us your cylinder.
Cylinder will be bored to the next size required to restore proper piston to cylinder wall clearance professionally by our Machine Shop machinist who has been doing our bore work since 1983 Your cylinder will be measured and bored to the next size needed to restore performance back to your engine. We will return it by Priority Mail and it will include your freshly bored cylinder, a complete piston kit which includes a piston, piston pin ,clips and a complete set of rings. Also included will be a set of all the necessary gaskets to reassemble your top end. And enclosed will be a sheet of helpful instructions to install your new piston and fresh cylinder.
Our turnaround time is usually less than 3 days so you can hit the trails soon again.
